Looking for Software Engineers

I recently left the world's largest software maker to join the world's largest bookseller. Somebody is going to make a psychological statement about my (un?)healthy fascination with "world's biggest" things. Go figure. I'd assert that they are both in the Seattle area and both world class organizations.

Staffing

I'm staffing a team of software developers to work closely with systems and network engineers. We'll be working on internal tools and processes, automated network device configuration, network monitoring, IP address management, load balancer configuration, etc. I'm actively accepting resumes for review. These jobs aren't yet posted on the external website, but will be soon. If you are interested, please send your resume here cbrown@atbash.net. I'll contact Seattle-local developers in person to answer any questions, and I'm available by phone for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for senior positions will have 5+ years development experience in C/C++, mentoring or lead experience, in-depth understanding of networking concepts in TCP/IP, DNS, publish-subscribe messaging, multicast, and routing protocols (OSPF). Additional highly-valued skills include Perl, Java, mentoring or lead experience. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
